Client wanted us to design and manage an affordable website using some of the best web applications on the market to advertise Tystie Cottage to the widest possible audience.
Mashup websites are exciting, innovative and challenging. Our brief was to create a mashup for a private client to sell location, location, location. This Search Engine Friendly, CSS, JavaScript website is integrated with facilities such as Google Calendar, Google Maps, Social Bookmarks, RSS feeds, Del.icio.us, and Flickr. Good post! When it comes to web services, Google's is certainly top dog! However Yahoo! offers great web services for creating innovative and exciting mashups.
Unlike Google, there's no central system to track your account. instead, Yahoo!'s most popular web services, Delicious and FLICKR requires you to have different accounts split across two websites :-|
