Good post! When it comes to web services, Google's is certainly top dog! However Yahoo! offers great web services for creating innovative and exciting mashups.
Unlike Google, there's no central system to track your account. instead, Yahoo!'s most popular web services, Delicious and FLICKR requires you to have different accounts split across two websites :-|
