Our Property Move is a low cost, private property sale website providing an alternative for anyone looking to axe the estate agent and sell or let their home online for a flat fee, not a fat fee!

9 out of 10 homebuyers find their new home online. Homeowners advertise their UK property for a low upfront fee and pass the savings onto the buyer or tenant.

Our Brief

Our first private sale website, ourpropertymove.co.uk was launched in 2007 to bring buyers & sellers, landlords & tenants together, in order to facilitate a Private Sale. Client wanted Our Property Move to provide a cost-effective alternative to high street estate agents and property portal sites which attract more than 90pc of the market via the web.

Hot Property Websites designed and developed a powerful custom built CMS, e-commerce website to meet the needs of homeowners looking for a quick house sale. Website: http://www.ourpropertymove.co.uk
Since then we've launched a community focused property website, pet friendly accommodation website and private lettings website. These browser based content managed websites (CMS) save you administration time, labour and money.

5 Hot property tips for selling your home fast

When selling a house the most important marketing tool is a 'for sale sign' as around 25pc of house sales are generated by this alone! So private sellers should make sure their board is simple, bright, bold and printed by a professional such as a high street copyshop.

I'd advise private sellers to use leaflets, posters and local press advertising in addition to putting their property details on house selling websites.

Try and present your property in the best light by staging your photographs. Use wide angle lenses to give the buyer a better sense of space for example.

Get a home information pack (HIP).

At the end of the day, a house is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. So if your looking for a quick sale in a depressed property market consider offering to pay the stamp duty, survey fess or the buyers solicitors fees in addition to dropping the asking price to encourage offers.

"Why property fraud is now so easy" - THE TIMES Thursday March 5 2009

Private sellers trying to sell their home in a depressed market now have another serious problem to contend with, according to thisismoney.co.uk

There is a growing number of cases of fraudsters doing dodgy property deals as prices fall because the asset can be sold or mortgaged to raise cash.

THE TIMES 05/03 reports "...Loose regulations being exploited by white collar criminals range from selling property they do not own to buying property at inflated valuations and making off with the difference. Critical to many of these scams is the use of stolen identities..."
